so outta control that Garcia remixed and re-released the original 1969 album in 1971. I didn't track down a copy of the original mix until probably about 20 years ago (acquired from a Deadhead work colleague of mine)... and then about 15 years ago Rhino re-released it (on polyvinylchloride, of course

).
Oh, as an irrelevant, egocentric aside (yeah, I know,
inconceivable...): The aforementioned work colleague used to refer to
my laboratory as
the Sugarees. We were the glycoconjugate experts in the 'hood, you see. I am
all about carbohydrates, professionally speaking.
