It's good that some can do at that age, it's quite often not just a problem of brain plasticity, inability to learn but poor eyesight or something elseThis, and, they can "infect" elderly adults with it.
Happened to my mother (now 89, back then 85 and happily "computer illiterate"): After seeing a toddler (in a stroller) playing a game on a tablet, she decided she has to learn the modern ways of communication. Now she is using a tablet, a smartphone and a PC (with Linux BTW).
Poor eyesight, not in her case, after getting an artificial lens. And, she is very fit mentally for her age. The problem was IMHO wrong educational attitude affecting girls, in the 40s and 50s (under the Commies in Poland). Anything technical was like "don't touch it, you could break it". This remains "imprinted" even decades later. The funny part: I couldn't break this "spell" for years, and the toddler did it in a minute. It's good that some can do at that age, it's quite often not just a problem of brain plasticity, inability to learn but poor eyesight or something else
I think that is rather universal. Even now there are tons of work which are male dominated for no good reason.Poor eyesight, not in her case, after getting an artificial lens. Life is sometimes strange.
