Had my annual full blood test panel last week (it costs nothing to have the test in the shithole Social Democracy I live in).

So I rock up, state my name and my doctors name and they draw the blood.

Now, if I want to have a copy emailed to me, I have to show my drivers licence, write my basic details and email address on a paper form and sign the form!!!.

So I can have a blood test without showing any ID but to get a copy I need to ?.

Also, given my complete details are on the computer screen and I am in the same room as the person drawing the blood, why couldn't they just enter my email address into the computer which indicates I want a copy..why is a paper based consent needed?

But what do I know.

Peter

Alas, in a more serious frontal crash, such "resilience" can save the engine, but kill the people inside the car...
