a propos somebody fainted - a real situation: Big medical congress (about 2.000 participants), closing gala in an opera house.
The speaker suddenly faints after a few minutes talking.
Some panicked person emerged and shouted "is there a doctor in the room?"

... on the other hand, the little country church we go to is chock full of staff from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (plus at least one EMT) - we've had a couple of legitimate medical emergencies on Sunday mornings. The care and attention those folks have gotten is remarkable.

YMMV in both... A relative was once resuscitated in a church, later got an artificial valve. After 10 or so years a second valve - and died, not because of botched surgery, but because of resistent bacteria...I dunno man, I'd clearly prefer a hospital.
I expected an X-Wing.

In Poland (long ago, in the 90s) a Marlboro TV ad was pulled quickly, despite being funny: Marlboro Man (looking very old) on horseback, smoking. Below, the warning "smoking kills". After a few seconds, the warning said "slowly though".

The late Rob Reiner, 1947-2025, was the son of humorist Carl Reiner, 1922-2020. The father, Carl Reiner has many credits. One was his long running "The 2000 Year Old Man," where he played the straight man to Mel Brooks, the 2000 year old man.
Maybe we need one on the history of audio. There are many versions of the story recorded at different shows easiiy found on the Internet.
