I have dozens of friends in the advertising industry. So I appreciate a good ad. There are brand ads and product ads. With brand ads you have more freedom and more budget. This one is by agency adam&eveDDB/Omnicom in campaign Expedition Impossible for Columbia Sportswear. It features Tim Boyle, son of company founder Gert Boyle who passed away at age 95.

You can click through to see the video without logging into Instagram.

It challenges flat-earthers to prove the earth is flat by taking a photo of the edge of the earth with a reward of the company's assets.

Their YouTube channel has other funny ads.

Many years ago, my best friend bought a beach house holiday home. Just before he left, I gifted his 6 year old son a drum set. You should have seen the look on his face, it was priceless.
Reminded me of when I gave my nephew a Mr Microphone, a battery powered handheld amplified microphone, and the look from my sister that day and occasional snarky comments I received over time. Several years later she calls me laughing " Guess what, he's out front at his lemonade stand barking in customers with his Mr Microphone"

As a 'Generation Jones' Boomer, I have used the first 3 interchangeably, for as long as I can remember. 'Sus' is the 'new' one, and I can see the appeal.

(From Dexter series. Dude on the left is a serial killer, staring dude is a cop colleague who is highly suspicious of him but can't find proof for the hell of it)
