So... the classic organic chemistry text, at least in the US, when I was... of an age to be concerned with such matters... was Morrison & Boyd.
It was very thick, very dense, very fit-for-purpose, but generally rather dry. The whole of the Third Edition (the one with which I was encumbered) contained -- as best I could determine -- exactly, identically two deliberate attempts at humor -- jokes, if you will.
One of them concerned stereoisomerism.
