Did it look like Сралин?A Polish newspaper in (IIRC) 1953 (after the death of Stalin) made a typo in his name (r instead of t), making it read as "Shitter".
No one noticed soon enough, because it was the main headline.
IDK whether the editor survived.
Exactly, only in latin alphabet (Sralin). Imagine that in 1953...Did it look like Сралин?
I live in Bulgaria, and we use Cirillic too; small nuances between Bulgarian and Russian apply, of course, but it indeed sounds to me like something related to "shitting", or "shitted upon"... ;-)
