One time in the 1950s, my father was in a Manhattan restaurant. He went to the men's room, and as he was standing at the urinal, the notoriously short Kirk Douglass stepped up to the unit next to him. Later, my father said, "If I had turned sideways, I'd have been pissing on his head."
