A Call For Humor!

Around here, we call it woods. :)
woods...more logical than bush...it always feels kinda dirty when you say I spent an afternoon in the bush.

This is the fluffy "bush" around my abode...which goes and goes esp at the back of the house (bottom of the picture).

Roof is flat but house is two stories so you can get a gauge of the height of the canopy.. You can touch some of the tree branches from the first floor balcony (which runs along the left side of the house)

Those solar panel looking things are glass panels that let tons of light in.

Maryland, by and large, doesn't have towns, at least in the New England sense of the word. Most "places" outside of the few cities in the Free State are defined by the US Postal Service (i.e., their ZIP codes) rather than as independently administrated and incorporated settlements. It's kind of a Maryland thing.
Really ?

Grew up NW of Baltimore and most every town has a mayor a council, some have police, etc.

I know of very few, at least near charm city. Places like Cumberland Hagerstown, yes.

Edit. Towns on the eastern shore tend to, I think: Salisbury, Cambridge... even Ocean City. :) Westminster probably has a city government (?). Does, e.g., Reisterstown? I dunno.

Reisterstown, I dont think so. Baltimore county has no incorporated towns.

Westminster, Taneytown, Hampstead, Manchester, Union Bridge, Sykesville & New Windsor, yes. Eldersburg no, Finksburg no.

Frederick, Emmitsburg, I think Thurmont & Walkersville.

Decided a graphic would be better, here is a map of Municipalities in MD made using state data at (https://apps.planning.maryland.gov/finderonline/).

KellenVancouver.

Your church joke doesn't work at all, because it is commanded to tithe your income. In other words, you are misleading people with that picture of yourself as a joke.So it's not humor at all, you understand now.

If you are easily offended by humor then this is not the thread for you. No need for personal attacks. You understand now.

Although I suspect an Alphabet employee would fail to see the humor. ;)

And why do banks look like temples?

I remember the first time I saw Steve Martin (who'd already honed his chops as a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour) on The Tonight Show, doing pretty straightforward stand-up. I remember only bits and pieces of his shtick at this late date, but the joke that stuck with me went something like this:

Why do banks always have names like FIDELITY BANK AND TRUST? Why not Bob's Bank? "Hi, I'm Bob! This's my bank!"
