A Call For Humor!

I wonder who will be the first to make a photomanipulation of this topical video....

God this woman has a voice...I just melt down in a puddle when I hear her sing. She makes me very jealous that I cannot compete with an equally impressive voice myself.

Roughly 5 years ago when my current wife and I became entangled, I went with her home to visit her family and as a result got exposed to European culture as lived in Bulgaria. An eye opening experience on many levels...but morning coffee for me is a necessity, not an option and as an american I had the uniquely american way of consuming it, yes with milk. Perish the thought! :) But I tried the European approach of 2 ounces brewed very strong...and yes two of those with sugar got my motor running just as well as the 10 or 12 ounces of american coffee I would normally consume. Fast forward to today...Now what I drink is sort of in the middle...I drink less of it than I did but it is stronger than it used to be. I appreciate the lessons learned on that trip. Coffee was just one of them. :)
As a Belgian, we drink coffee probally by the liter, in big cups and quiet strong. Milk or sugar are personal taste, but the hardcore coffee crew swears without it mostly. I only add sugar when the coffee is bad quality. I try to reduce my ammount of coffee altough, but my first cup will be strong.

There is no real EU way of making coffee, there are many depending on the country. But most don't want the american way, where it's more sugar and milk (or other stuff) than coffee, and coffee must be hot. It's mainly the younger generations who copy the american ways, or go to Starbucks. Most older here don't like Starbuchs at all, and prefer one of the many more artisanal coffee brands if they need more than the supermarket coffee (douwe egberts and so).

So do I, and i'm lucky that i live close to one of the most famous ones, that supplies to almost all the high level restaurants, hotels and bars in the wide region since decades. And if you go straight to the manufacturor their shop (which is quiet remote on the countryside), it's not really more expensive than supermarket coffee. Other small scale producers are often more expensive, especially in the big cities.

Uhhhh....would that be Schrödinger's curb? From our town's new guidance on leaf collection:

Ah yes, that reminds me of this classic Monty Python skit.

"Will those of you who are playing in the match this afternoon - move your clothes down onto the lower peg immediately after lunch, before you write your letter home, if you're not getting your hair cut, unless you've got a younger brother who's going out this weekend as the guest of another boy, in which case collect his note before lunch, put it in your letter after you've had your hair cut, and make sure he moves your clothes down to the lower peg for you".
