UGH! At one time the Wirecutter seemed to give okay if not great advice. I haven't seen that in about 3 years. If there was ever any doubt their advice is worthless this ought to seal the deal. Also gives lie to their claim of being experts.

I started my IT career in the European headquarters of American Express in the seaside town of Brighton, UK. This was in the days of DOS and Windows 3.1 (we were using IBM PC DOS 5.0 at the time). Amex House, or the 'wedding cake' as it was known, was a large building and the top floors on the South side of the building had an excellent panoramic view of the English Channel. Queue my best ever desktop support conversation with a user...
