And a (nord)swedish guy i know said recently in a videocall: it was warm today, only -20*C ( -4 °F), that is not a real winter...
It's all relative :)

A recent headline for my neck of the woods:
Seven Alberta locations are among the coldest on Earth today

Extreme cold warnings are in effect for much of Alberta, with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) warning of wind chill values between -40°C and -45°C in some spots.

In some parts of northern siberia, that is still warm, The northern Yakutsk (or Sakha) region in north-east Siberia often goes to -60 to -65*C, with a record of -71.2 °C (-96.2 °F) in 1924, and unofficial records that even go 10° lower... It's considered the coldest place on earth that is inhabited.

Is that all? Locals in Banff some years back didn't seem to think -42°C without wind chill was particularly cold. Relatives elsewhere in Alberta said it could get a lot colder.
