I didn't use an Apple II until I was in secondary school.

The first computer I used was in high school; we ran stacks of punch cards through it.

Had a FORTRAN class as an undergraduate. I spent hours at a keypunch and handed the stack of cards to a dude that took them into back room. About four hours later, a tractor fed printout let me know there was an error. I then spent more time trying to locate a misplaced comma or something else and tried again. Often took three or four of these cycles to complete the assignment.
