Wasn't that the one where Lotus designed the engine for Isuzu?

Lotus did have some involvement with that car, but only for the suspension tuning. However, the design was by Giugiaro, and one of his better efforts.

Most interesting dash I had was a circa 1985 Isuzu Impulse Turbo (can't recall the exact year). It was a fun and beautiful car until the head gasket failed. The control pods to the left and right of the wheel could move. Photo is of JDM version, mine was slightly different:
