I have the misfortune of being audited once.
I’m generally a stable guy, but the continual onslaught of bad news month after month, every single new notice of bad news from the government slipping through my mail slot, practically gave me PTSD. It was the first time I was probably actually depressed. So yeah, I can kind of understand it. Being on the wrong side of the tax department is incredibly stressful.
I was audited and they never even notified me. They just did it and then notified me there was a audit and it was clean... LoL. I was like woooT?
