A Call For Humor!

The solution to most printer problems tend to be spelled Brother.

You monster.
Yes, I have had a Brother for many years now. It works fantastic. All I have ever done is load in ink cartridges. That is it. I tried off brand ink and it didn't like it (print quality) so I went back to Brother ink and it has been flawless for years with zero maintenance and effort. They offer a regular sized ink cartridges for it, then a high output or whatever it is called for printing a lot more pages and then they had a super jumbo (my name) for it. The super jumbo would not fit in the machine so I returned it and I have used the high output or whatever it is called for years. So easy to use and so easy to put new ink cartridges in. I would buy another brother in a heartbeat. All ink is very expensive so that is just a given across the board, but Brother is there for the win. Not often I recommend a product.

Windows has a print to PDF and those are easy to send around via email or a shared folder (I use a USB hard drive on the router). Even a Google Drive they both have access to makes a simple way to share.
I’m interested… But what happens when the PDF ink get low??? :p:p:p

When did the humor thread turn into a printer discussion thread? May I suggest a separate thread for that?

If you have been here long enough, you will remember the metric vs. imperial war, the meat puns, and goodness knows what else. Printers deserve to be rubbished. The dislike is as universal as hatred for speed cameras.

Who actually prints on a frequent basis? Mrs. thegeton uses the printer for her fabric crafting needs but I hardly ever print anything.

Even at work I've stopped printing. Waybills, shipping docs, the occasional shipping label, but otherwise, zip.

Brother products have long been exceptional but under-rated and relatively unknown. My father worked for WT Grant in the 1960's and most of the electronics and home appliances were named store-branded "Bradford", but they were made by Brother. They also seem to make everything, including the little DC motors in their products. In that respect they are like Toshiba.

I found this to be rather hilarious.
