When folks essay to get me to write my name with a Sharpie* on a not-particularly-sticky-backed piece of paper on a sheet they got from Walmart -- and endeavor to stick it on an article of my clothing, I like to quip:

I was born without a name. Sorry. It's a congenital defect.
