They must have scanned it as it was going overboard otherwise how would they know which package it was?
Unless an entire container fell over. They would have a master BOL for every container. Just sayin'.They must have scanned it as it was going overboard otherwise how would they know which package it was?
In the old days it simply "fell off the back of the truck".Unless an entire container fell over. They would have a master BOL for every container. Just sayin'.
My first opportunity to hear quality HiFi gear was at a buddies house where most of the system in question had "fallen off of the back of a truck." Great sounding system BTW.In the old days it simply "fell off the back of the truck".
What a great story. Thanks for that!speaking of “falling off the back of the truck” way back in the I think late 90’s I bought a used pass lab 150.5 on eBay from a guy in AZ. Showed up just fine a worked as new. Several years later had an issue a called pass lab about service. An older gentleman answered the phone an was quite helpful. He asked me the serial number and the issue I was having, after putting me on hold to check out the manufracture date he came back on line an asked me if I had heard the term “ falling off the back of the truck”. Of course I had an he informed me that my unit was one of the first runs of that model and had been stolen in New York City off a delivery truck. He asked about the provenance of the amp and I gave him my story how I came to acquire it.He found it quite humorous, but said send it in a they would fix it. I thanked him profusely an asked him his name. He replied Nelson Pass. What a nice guy and I still have that beast.
