80s Music Thread: what you got?

Oh yes the eighties. So many good songs and albums.

Talk talk, foreigner, FGTH, Roxy Music, U2 (before achtung baby  ), Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, The Police, The Cure, Tears for fears, etc.

For me it was a perfect pop blend with synths and guitars. Classic drums and drumcomputers.

At the end of the decade the beginning of house and techno. :)

Some true 80s classics:

The first New Millennium party song '82

While I'm more looking at late 60s thru the 80s for my go-to for music of the past, I'm 10 years older than you, too. Romeo Void, Tommy Tutone, Wall of Voodoo, The Police and some others come to mind immediately, but in my collection of recordings you could randomly pick out something and there's a good chance it's from that time period, and bought a lot of stuff in the 80s too as my income had increased by then :).

Duran Duran's first album. My friend and I weren't even teenagers at the time, but my friend bought the cassette tape of that album. Damn, we listened to it that summer
in the early 1980s. :D All the songs, for example:

I also have nice 80s memories of a fun Swedish punk band called KSMB who also played after the heyday of classic punk. Here for example: :)

It is incredible what they got away with in the eighties. So much nipple slip, this is remastered but the original has it too.
