Hello. I'm working on a Raspberry Pi project (an infotainment system for my car) and I reached a wall when it comes to finding the right audio solution.
My car has 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, all receiving audio from a factory amp, which in turn receives preamplified audio from the radio. I've also installed a subwoofer and amplifier by splicing the rear preamplified speaker signals. The factory speakers are 30W 2Ohm units.
I'm looking for a solution to replace the radio and AMP with a DAC and AMP connected to the Raspberry Pi that will work with the current speakers and leave room for upgrading the speakers on the way if needed.
I'm kind of lost in finding the right setup and I'd appreciate some advice on that.
