I was so satisfied with mine after slapping on some acoustune tips that I didn't bother tip rolling any further until today. But boy do they sound good with moondrop spring tips. Endgame level imho
Good. If you don't mind can you show your ear tips?
I haven't experienced the products from moondrop yet, so I'm curious about the ear tips. (To be purchased soon)

What I'm currently using is softears' uc tip.

I just tried it with the softears tips too! Pretty good separation and imaging, but lacking just a bit of top end extension to my ears :) As a result, certain parts of some tracks can sound a tad dull

Oh bloody hell - just collected mine after a damned good session the other night with the Zero, which got a touch 'jangly' for me if I turned 'em up - they're so clean it's easy to do...

A pal has just sent me a Spotify play list and I plugged the Zero 2's into the US spec Apple dongle, linked up the Spotify play list and am currently blown away with the fidelity of the sound - for THIRTY QUID for this version (no mic or anything else) from Amazon...

The slight extra low bass over the Zero really is addictive and there's absolutely no floppy distortion. The slightly less top also suits well without need for eq, not that I can to be honest. The balance is soon adapted to but be warned - they're so damned clean one wants to increase the volume as it's so easy to get deep into the mixes I'm playing!

I'm back thirty years ago with neighbours out rocking out with the big ATCs I once owned. Maybe I should check back after a month or so. Tips used are the small dark blue? ones which are closer to the hearing aid domes...

This one flat out - oops ;)

I just tried the JVC Spiral Dot.

It is nothing less than a small sensation,
how these tips improve the sound quality,
of the Zero 2!
The entire sound is much more authentic and "decompressed"!

Cool! From the appearance, are these the EP-FX9 older non ++ version of spiral dot tips? They are indeed quite good, I am also testing them now alongside 19 other pairs of shortlisted tips XD

Wide and stubby definitely the best for these type of fit IEM

I think you're right- I find sizing up necessary for some of my shorter bore tips when used with these. Though some wider bore "bullet" style tips are hitting the mark in terms of fit and sonics too ;)

Any point of getting a set of these, EQ'ng them as per Amir's notes, when I already have a set of TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero:RED ? Thanks

the graph looks like tamed down kiwi cadenza with bass boost (tilt)

I do not have the red, but I have the blue Truthear Zero. To my ears the Truthear are better than the Zero2. I think it is due to the shape of my ears being more in tune with Truthear, more than any thing else, so it might not apply to you.
But if your are happy with the red and do not see a reason to own an other pair of IEM, then why would you buy the Zero2. For the price difference, IMO, the red or the blue, are better IEM”s.

My opinion here:

I can't keep buying 'stuff' so the Zero and Zero 2 will have to do for now. Posts above are suggesting different 'tips' or 'domes' are better again?

I've had a few sessions with the Zero 2's and confess I'm enjoying them immensely. I'd never remotely suggest that these are 'end game' for such a device, but forty quid all up with Apple dongle suits me just fine :D

They can be defeated though, but whether that's ear canal resonances or similar I don't know. The melodic 'AHHH' introduction to 'Little Bird' by Annie Lennox just sounds like a one note 'AHHH' which it definitely isn't in reality and I don't know where Amir gets his 114db readings from as my ears (what's left of 'em) cave in long before that (Apple dongle in use is the US spec one which a kind member obtained and sent me - eternal thanks - ).

Anyway, I ain't complaining at all for twenty five quid FFS. Bloody marvels they are for that price and if you lot have far more money to spend on better performing products, more power to you :)

Graphs a lot like Truthear Hola too. Cadenza and Hola I own already so I'm not in a hurry to pick up Zero 2. Tin C2 is my go to for a this type of warm tuning signature anyway, moded it has just the right amount of snap to go with the warmth.
