How would you compare the 2 IEMs?
Some impressions...
Will write something in the couple of the next days (need to listen to them more and play a bit with eq to see how it goes)
But as I said the first impression regarding sound is very positive.

That cable is not the one mine came with. Mine is plain flat.
It's not the stock one. It's cable that I use with almost every iems that I have. I like the feel I like the look and I like the softness much better than a lot of those stock cables.

ps. Tips are also non stock

Oh please...We are talking about state of the art.
Roland Fantom and Yamaha Montage are top notch synths: they are historic achievements, second to none.

It manages 24 bit @ 48000 Hz.
Does any of that make it any good as a headphone amp?

That's why ASR exists. Maybe Amir could measure it.

Sure. But won't be mine.

And then not because these IEMS happened to be too bright when plugged to it. Simply there are not matching well, whatever the reason.

I don't know.

But, surely, Roland will put the very best available in their flagship products when released.
.

I'm not sure that hope is well placed.

As others have pointed out, headphone amps can vary wildly on devices. Sometimes they are little more than an afterthought.

It certainly isnt a low output impedance so using it with IEMs is going to be something of a lottery as to what the resulting impacts on FR are going to be.

Well, as said before, Zero and Zero Red work
flawlessly with that keyboard and I think I am done with them for years to come.

Now, plugged to a Bluetooth receiver, 1Mii ML300, the sound not only matches Zero and Zero Red, but I get a bit more deep bass, tight and delicious, and instruments appear more separated and well defined...

I will stop here at the risk of becoming mad.

You, testers, are my heros.

Here is a link to one of my songs, should you
want to listen. Played in real time, no editing, just fingers and pedals. 45T means 45 tracks with VSTs, virtual instruments, are playing.

Enjoy. It is 24 bit 48000 Hz.

Available till January 19th.

:):):):)
Had a listen to your track there, sounds like movie music. As I was listening to it I was imagining some kind of fighting happening near a railroad track in the Wild West back in the era of the Cowboys & Indians.

I didnt say it was a lottery you couldnt win ;-)

I use the Zero 2 with the Apple dongle. I have two of them the lightning and the Usb C version. However, when I listen to my Ipad there's plenty of volume, while when I use my Windows 11 Pc I cannot get the same level. This is unfortunate as I cannot use EQ Apo on the Ipad. Is there any trick to solve this problem?

I think you can use Neutron Player as your music player, and that will be able to access the audio hardware directly and unlock it's full potential re volume. I think I've seen @staticV3 recommend this type of approach, but I'll tag him in this post to be sure. Ah, but then you might not be able to use EQ Apo in conjunction with the Neutron Player unlocking the potential of the device, not sure. Neutron Player has it's own parametric EQ though, but interface takes some getting used to.

Bullseye, but happening some four centuries before...

That would work if staying on android but using apps other than Neutron (or uapp) but you need to keep it connected. Doesn't "unlock" the device per se. Poster wants to use it with a PC.

Ha, ok, war music but also no railroad involved then! But based in North America for the scene?
