Because pushing IEMs back into your lugs every 10 seconds or so, so you get decent sound gets rather tiresome. IEMs just do not work for everyone.$20 IEMs with this level of performance and low distortion?
Why would you pay more for other headphones?
Makes you wonder.
+1Crazy times we live in. Considering the functionality this is ridiculously cheap.
Would be nice to see it tested though.

Uh huh. Once you've wasted money on IEMs and wasted even more on replacement tips that don't work either, you should just keep chucking money down the drain on more and more replacement tips, because of your opinion. Thanks for that handy tip for modern consumer living.Insertion problems should be solved by using other types of tips. One should not be restricted to the ones included with the IEM. They are a generic overall fit for most people, but there are several other types. Less or more pointy, dual or triple flange for deeper insertion and higher isolation for example. Or foam tips, you compress and insert, and they mold to the shape of the ear canal. On the extreme there are the very deep insertion IEMs like Etymotic that are like impossible to fall off, though not very comfortable to me.
No need to give up on IEMs because of fit imo.

That looks interesting. All the mentioned functions are part of the cable though and one can get this on its own.
Are they actually sharp, or just an awkward angular shape? They are so cheap that I wouldn't mind taking a file to it to soften any sharp edges.
You considered EQ to be necessary for the Zero Blue?Yes, the FreeDSP gave my Truthear x Crinacle Zero Blues a new lease of life...
More here. You considered EQ to be necessary for the Zero Blue?
How does the DSP dongle work? Is it an app? Works on Android?WIndows?Mac?Linux?
Could not get an answer from shenzhenaudio.
If this is the "Free DSP" dongle, then it works via an andriod app. The GUI is usable if you can enter the parameters yourself, but isn't beautiful and has frustrating limitations. I found this video helpful (and decided not to buy). You considered EQ to be necessary for the Zero Blue?

For me noise isolation is critical for being able to hear details of jazz and classical music while riding commuter trains and planes without excessive, possibly damaging, volume levels. Is it possible to get 40-ish db isolation with these using foam tips, which works great with Etymotic? How do you know which tips will fit and hold? I've not been able to get good results with any other IEMs that I've tried.Insertion problems should be solved by using other types of tips. Is it possible to include noise isolation in IEM and headphone reviews? That's real-world SNR for commuters, or urban apartments with window air conditioners.
Here some shots from different angles in comparison to other iems, maybe useful to give an idea of it's shape and sizeThey could be an awkward shape if you sleep with them in your ears but for everyday use you don’t notice the shape, they are smaller than they look with the advantage of a smaller nozzle than the Truthear Zero - they were chonky uncomfortable things after a while.
