72 Hours Into the IEM Rabbit Hole — Now I Know Nothing. Help Me Choose Wisely

I found the original DSP cable I was using that I know would fit the Gate's but it was less then 10 euro's cheaper then trying the FiiO Tiny A.
So I will try that first, ordered from Amazon just in case I don't like the software or I come across some other weird issue.

The software sadly also has some bugs (it's been crashing the last few days, but wasn't before...)

I've also had the android app crashing regularly the last few dsys

So let me know if you have any problems as I may have had them too & know what to do about jt.

The USB-C cable that should fit the Gate in case someone is curious, it looks identical the the one I got with the Chu:2.

Both the Tiny A and replacement Gate arrived.
Just tested it, found an issue only to find out that you also noticed that changing sampling rates is broken with the ASIO driver from FIIO but it works fine with the generic Windows driver.

Other observations not related to measured performance:
Both the web app and android app work for me.
User EQ profiles were not named as such on my sample, which took me a minute to figure out.
Works with Linux for me but did not get the web app working yet, I can select the device I want to connect to but it fails to connect.

Sorry I can't help here, I've not had this problem on Windows with Chrome, and don't have a proper Linux system. Perhaps try a different browser?

No worries mate!
Tried different browsers but haven't looked into it beyond that, it's not officially supported as far as I can tell and it's not like they are paying me to get it to work

I only own three IEMs, so hardly an expert, but the one I prefer the sound of is the least expensive one. Less than $30.

Got tracking notification that the GATEs will be here tomorrow (Thursday). Will be excited to finally be able to compare them with my Zero:2’s. Also grabbed the TRN Black Pearl from Amazon and it is slated to deliver tomorrow as well.

What will my 3rd set of IEM’s be…??? This is pretty fun, how many pairs can I get before you all cut me off? lol.

You could try Truthear Pure anyway, nothing’s stopping you.
If you like having IEMs with different aesthetics, fit and sound, there’s a whole world out there to explore.
As long as you don’t fall into pseudoscientific products that are just there to take your money, anything else that makes you feel good is absolutely fine.
