These guys were big when and where I grew up (Baltimore, mid to late 1970s) and they kind of adopted Baltimore as home.
They were (are -- AFAIK they're still at it) in many respects quite Beatle-esque, but with even more sardonic songs, and a precision musical weirdness that
really worked for me in those days (as I was outgrowing bands like Yes). I am still a big fan -- although I am
happier now than I was in the 1970s, so the profound darkness of so much of John Palumbo's best stuff is a little hard for me to listen to in 2022. But, in small portions, I do still love this stuff. YMMV, of course.
