On-er topic Most of War's recordings were quite good, and the quality of the music is unassailable (even if often not exactly upbeat in terms of subject matter). Herewith, a couple of "greatest hits".

When I bought that record (the MoFi half-speed master) nearly 30 years ago, the record store guy (who knew me) asked, "You don't already have this album? ... Are you American?"
One of my favorites, I had the 180 graph half-speed pressing which sounded absolutely fantastic.
A must-have for jazz fans, just spectacular music making. Recorded in 1974.
