7 hour AC mains power outage lead to 45 minutes of partial power delivery with dead desktop PC and gateway. How to protect in future?

I use the Cyberpower sine wave, replacement batteries for these are like $45 which isn't bad.
It's got no fans and works really well. Tampa is the lightning capitol of the world and I reset our clocks at least once a week, power is really spotty. Continuous power, so when it dips or drops it's rock steady all the time.

What about this 1000W unit? I have a 1000W gaming PC power supply that I run hard and a notebook and gateway on the same circuit. Maybe I should get a? >>>

Amazon is offering free music with a purchase. Seems like an omen to me.

I have YouTubePremium and anything more than this and I simply don't have enough time in the days.

Here are the important specs. These UPS are only to give you some time so that you can properly shutdown your computer(s).

Does anyone use these for audio equipment? My building had a split second power hiccup this afternoon - enough to blink the lights and power cycle the main stereo system which was in use at the moment (it cut Dave Mustaine clean off, insert your own joke here). Seems like one of these units being discussed could have spared the stereo that little incident.

That looks very nice c/w some sort of nice display with O-scope of AC waveform too.

I use it to keep my Windows PC server running. The rest of the gear would be limited by the power abilities of these UPS'.

I've been googling CyberPower Canadian models and they are not exactly what I see at the Amazon.com CyberPower model(s). I need to call a Canadian retailer a big one we have here and ask what comes with a proper warranty and does the job well for 1kW UPS with pure sine.

There were UPS's that run AC-to-DC-to-AC full time. I don't remember what they were called and I'm not sure if they are still available (they probably aren't considered "green"). That will protect you from EVERYTHING, except maybe a lighting strike that can arc-through almost anything.

Otherwise I'm not sure what you can do about a brownout other than turning everything off as soon as possible.

With some things working and some things not, you may have had a dead/bad phase. (Here in the U.S we have "split phase" with half of the house on each phase, and 240V appliances running from both phases.)
Double conversion is what they are called, as opposed to a "line interactive" UPS. I specified then a lot to protect the smart bits in broadcasting transmitter installations.

In Japan, very much reliable and robust JVC-Kenwood portable mobile rechargeable PS Units, made in Japan, are available and popular, even rather expensive though. JVC Company is collaborating with domestic car industry for the developments of the portable PSs using lithium-ion batteries designed for EV and/or Hybrid EV cars; they guarantee the normal operation in temperature range -10 degreeC to +40 degreeC.

Do you have a whole home surge protection device in place? Sorry if I missed it....

If u buy a UPS be sure it's a Pure Sine Wave. Also, Ecoflow Delta 2 is on sale and this could be a better, more flexible answer that can do double duty if the power fails for a long time. Set the battery storage max to 70 or 75 percent to keep the battery healthy for years while it's always plugged in. It's light enough to move around if needed and will have 700wh of standby power..... (20x a small SLA) with a1600w psw inverter. Keep a small 12v cigarette inverter on hand for small loads in a long duration event . Something similar saved the day during the 5 days the power was out from sandy

Plus,,, each of the AC100V power strips (I use four of six-port PS strip in series, ref. end portion of my post here #931) has it own "varista-type" surge protector.
