5128 measurement for SHP9500?

Hi! This is just a question - is there any measurement done with the 5128 rig for the Philips SHP9500?

Probably not.

It has been measured on quite a few other fixtures though. On a 5128 it will just measure yet a bit different again than on other fixtures.
The biggest question, however, would be if it were measured on a 5128 which target would be included on the same plot. ?
What do you expect to see/find what all other measurement fixtures do not show ?

Makes sense. I'm just wondering how it would sound equalized to the 5128 Diffuse Field target, because it includes the ear cannal's influence on sound. I like how my IEM sounded EQ'Dd to that, but I prefer my over ear headphones. I guess I'll have to buy a headphone that has been measured on that gear just for this lol

Do you know if this could work?
1- Get several measurements done with the 5128 gear
2- Pick some GRAS measurements for the same headphone models and invert them to the 5128 ones, to get a delta function
3- Theoretically, this would give you the average difference between GRAS and a 5128 measurements, and then you could "predict" the frequency response of other headphones if they were measured using the 5128
4- Then, you could add this difference to any already existing GRAS measurement and EQ any headphone to the 5128 Diffuse Field target

Experts say it won't work.
I am no expert but also suspect it would not be easy and there would likely be a substantial error margin (delta between various headphones on those 2 fixtures).
The GRAS also includes the ear canal's influence it just differs a bit from 5128 and many other fixtures not using the same coupler/pinna.

Why would one be interested in 5128 measurements ?
DF field target is available for all test fixtures... why not use those ?
DF is not the same as a headphone target, let alone IEM.
