Good evening folks

I am upgrading my 2015 Denon AVR-X2200 to a 2018 AVR-X4500 in around 4 weeks... struggling to find a Silver 4500 anywhere

will the 4500 give me significant better sound quality than my 2200? I mainly listen to Music on CD and lots of music concert Blu-Rays..
Can’t find any reviews on here ‍♂️

I was looking at a 3600 or 3700, but decided the 4500 might be better? More powerful and better quality internal circuitry? The thing that worries me is this model runs extremely hot doesn’t it?

I definitely will be adding a stereo amp to the 4500 to give me superior music listening pleasure

would love to hear from other 4500 owners on how they like theirs, any negatives or positives?

Source content is most important in this case. If the source is Youtube music, I would say not, if source you play is high quality recording/mastering then I would say yes, though not what I would call night and day kind of improvements. I am assuming power requirement is not an issue here as you seem to sit quite close in a small/medium room, unless you listen to very loud level.
