I think it would be interesting to develop this project based on the feedback collected by forum users) a bit like Fosi did

As a satisfied repeat customer (both the older modules and your latest modules) I’d love to see you grow. But I’m confused by this announcement: is it a “finished amp” or is it a “diy kit”? Those are not the same thing!

Agree with what daniboun just said about taking our forum feedback into the design. Look at the insane demand Fosi has built for their product (even I have pre-ordered some mono blocks which I don’t need), this is the way.

I would be interested in a kit similar to a Ghent audio enclosure, wire kit and board with an optional PSU. But also a 3251 variant, if it is marginally cleaner.

Again thank you for the reply. I am only asking questions because I'd Like to put this 3255 board in the same type custom case I put the Aiyima A07 (has large integrated dial. Everything must fit in a 6.50" diameter cylinder that is 6.00" tall internally. I recently added LM4562's and am extremely happy with the quality of sound. If this can be accomplished, I'm on board with this board, no pun intended.

I machined the entire assembly from billet 6061-T6. I have a shorter one I need to finish for the A04.

 
Does anybody know if there will be a 3E 140-2 version to buy?

This could be ideal for tweeters in an active system.
 
Have had a great time building with this board, and sounds great. Now at the inevitable ground hum hunt stage.

I'm using the board with SE input. I've added my opamps and moved the resistors related to this (picture before this was done).

There's as additional instruction on the board to "Short IN- to GND at SE mode". Does anybody have practical advice how best to achieve this given the plastic connector?

At the moment I'm just running both cables together and connecting at the far end, but wondering if I'm best butchering the connector block in order to short at source, or running a short cable in a direct loop to it's neighbour? Ditch the plastic connector and solder straight to the pins? Or some other suggestion?

What does "both cables together" mean?
For SE mode, you use a two-wire cable, and you can connect GND and IN- in the cable socket itself.
 
Sorry I wasn't clear. I've used the 3 cable connector included in the pack, and rather than short IN- to GND in the socket itself I've used both IN- and GND cables and connected together at the far end. From a potentials perspective I guess this is the same thing, but an extra unnecessary cable lying around unnecessarily perhaps exacerbating hum.

If you are skilled with soldering, I think the second variant is better because of the short connection.
 
Sorry for the newbie question: would be the performance data measured by @amirm change if using XLR outputs? In particular, the distortion at frequencies higher than 5 kHz? That is the main weakness (from my very limited understanding) when comparing this amplifier with the Buckeneye NC252MP (which has XLR). Thank you.

I assume you meant XLR inputs.

The Amp tested here has only XLR inputs. These were use for all measurements.
