I ordered one on Monday and have yet to hear from them that they have sent the item.
I get the impression that when they get an order they make it each time in the family garage.
Topping recently has a bad reputation, but does this producer have any reputation?
Certainly the measured performance and low prices are impressive, but I concern that I can't rule out the possibility that they sent golden sample.

Hi,

You should follow this thread from the beginning.... We opened it well before Amir tested the module and the shared measurements are concomitant....

@abstrux
Why have you bought it if you are full of doubts and think that 3e is "kidding" you???
Golfing panther intrigued me.
It costs very little so I didn't really thought much to place an order.
Didn't know it was a very small company that can't even process shipping for 4 days.

@daniboun
Thanks, I'll try it later today.

It is christmas time and there we always have longer process times. I bought several of them and it was all fine.

As you can imagine, I buy a lot of things from Aliexpress.
For past 7 days I purchased 8 products from different sellers and others were shipped immediately on the same day, so I highly doubt it's a matter of logistics.
3e claimed to have about 80 in stock, but I suspect they actually had that stock in the form of parts.

Why should I imagine that you buy lots on ali? I don t know you.
Has 3e written somewhere that they ship same day? No! 12 days delivery and otherwise 1$. So what.

I don't understand why you feel so offended on behalf of a small Chinese company that has nothing to do with you, but I'm just sharing my consumer experience here.

Unlike ASR, the chat support from the seller on Aliexpress was also very unfriendly and I'm having an overall unpleasant consumer experience.(which my friends who bought at the same time as me feel the same)
All of this stems from my misconception that 3e is a big enough manufacturer, so I just hope no one else has the same misconception as me.
WHICH this review and other threads doesn't tell.

As I said. You criticize something they have not promised and that is not fair. Or show me where 3e said "same day shipping".

Guys )
I think we've all had more or less hazardous experiences on Aliexpress. The fact is, Audiophonics placed a large order with 3E Audio for the 480-1-29A
and 260-2-29A modules. For people who prefer to have guarantees and who are in a hurry, I recommend going through Audiophonics :)

My post right above yours shows another measurement of the same module, recently ordered.
And regarding the shipping delay, please take a look at the date... The weeks before Christmas are hell on earth for logistics.

Audiophonics rocks. Stuff has been getting to me in three days, and I am in the US.

Why are people calling out you? Um, maybe it is because you are making up nonsense from a vacuum and not actually sharing any sort of "experience". The only truth is that you have not heard that the item is shipped. Suddenly you "invent" that they make them in their garage and only have some parts lying around. Based on what? This is only echoes rattling around in your empty head. How about sticking to the facts that you know, instead of making up stuff?

Also, I should point out that you only joined this forum 1 day ago and so far you have attempted to smear 3E Audio several times with these baseless comments. So it's just as likely as not that you are just a troll.

I have ordered several times from 3e Audio and each time everything went smoothly and the items arrives well packed and as advertised.

Yes, the IC has robust protections against many failures.
I believe This is crucial for such devices and diy kits. This thing can produce quite a bit of power and speaker protection circuitry is needed. Especially if a fault in a SMPS is sent into the amp; and 3e has no control of course if the amp board is paired with a decent SMPS or not. And even good SMPS run well within their specs can fail.

Dude, maybe they are a bit overwhelmed by holiday demand and all the units ASR member ordered an hour after Amir dropped this review. I have no idea how big or small 3e is but i suspect it has been a bit niche. And it is a board…not a mass market retail unit. And if audiophonics really ordered a ton of them, we’ll get in line. I’ll give 3e benefit of doubt based on how well this thing tested and it looks well made.

I think the finished audiophonics version may be more comfortable fit.

Does anyone know if of any amp manufacturer anywhere who's made a fully-functional amp using this module yet?

If not, can someone suggest some entry-level tips or how-to link on a) case, b) power supply, c) wiring kits/harness to connect board inputs/outputs to RCA inputs and speaker posts, etc. (for some reason my search terms are not very fruitful on this, I'd basically like to quickly build an A07-like device around this board)

Can you recommend an amplifier under 200 euros with similar characteristics as 3e audio, but ready-made in a box and with connectors?

Just for fun, what DC offset do you have?
I have 6 mV at right, and neglibel zero at left, 0,09

I have a 9-channel amp with these modules and the DC offsets are:
1: 2.8mV
2: 1.4mV
3: -10.3mV
4: 5mV
5: 5.3mV
6: -9.2mV
7: -2.4mV
8: -3.8mV
9: -1.1mV

So I would say it varies between +- 10mV
The datasheet of the chip says typically 15mV DC offset.
