3e Audio TPA3251 TPA3255 Finished Amplifier with PFFB is coming!

Now I'm wondering, whether to take 3E AUDIO A7 or Audiophonics Hypex NC252MP...
What do you guys think?

  1. Yes.
  2. auto-off disabled is under review by FW engineer.
will cycle back soon.
we had made some change base on user feedback and suggestion from ASR member, thanks again for all of your advice and help us keep improve.
  • Auto power off time set to 20 mins
  • Increase audio detection sensitivity RCA: 200uVrms; XLR: 400uVrms,this significantly meet some user listening in very very low volume.
  • Auto audio sensing power on/off can be disable/enable by user,appreciate @Bushellj

@3eaudio I would add something on auto-sense here. Currently it only powers ON/standby the amplifier but another great option would be to add input switching as well.
I simply mean, if it can switch input based on signal input i.e., RCA vs XLR then many would appreciate the convenience.

I can't decide between a5 or a7... My floor-mounted speaker system is 4 ohms 89 Db
Both amps can handle loads down to 2 ohms.

Without knowing e.g. your room since, listening distance, desired average volume it's hard to tell if the A5 will be sufficient. It well might.

Remember that 250 W vs 150 W only buys you 2.2 dB of SPL headroom. That might be anything from irrelevant to exactly what you need.

They never had any branding on front face in previous batch.
indeed, I didn't pay attention to it before, here is no brand at all:

@3eaudio So this batch won't have any branding too, or have Soyyin?

@3eaudio slightly off-topic... Are you still planning to launch new versions with integrated PSU? I remember that this was in the road map if the current generation of amps was a commercial success and, from what I can read here and there, it seems to be the case ;)

yes, in progress and prototype build will be in June, launch plan is end of 2025.
will setup some discussion in ASR soon.

the A7 mono is just available with a 48V 5A power supply or without a power supply.

As in see in earlier posts you sold it with a 48V 10A power supply. Why dont you sell it with the bigger power supply anymore?

Is the 48V 5A enough to get the full potential out of the amp?

You can buy A7 Mono and Stereo with 48V 5A or without PSU, and 48V 10A PSU should available on another offer. (was yesterday)

correct! @dilu FYI...

  • the reason we don't include 48V/10A is due to the whole package weight is too high which will increase the ship cost significantly.
  • if run with 6/8ohm speaker i would recommand go with 48A/5A is enough for cost effetive.
  • if run with 4ohm or even lower to 2ohm, then it make sense upgrade to higher current one 48V/10A
  • A7,A7Mono and 48V/10A PSU now they can be ordered separately

so as is will run 4 Ohm speakers with it the 48V 10A power supply would be recommended. (Arendal 1723s Tower & Center - LCR)

But you dont sell the 48V 10A on your own right?

I checked the price when i buy the 48V 10A Aiyima power supply seperate, but then Audiophonics is cheaper the buying directly from you via Ali. They state to deliver with the 48V 10A power supply.

Do you have an information from which time on they will have the updated version? (the change in standby conditions is necessary for me)
