Well, this beauty also works with 38v DC linear PSU with the same polarity as original, and no more than 38v DC, the sounds is even warmer and also slightly more detail and less grain, I love it!!! Same linear PSU which mysteriously didn't worked with Topping B100's (exactly same voltaje, same polarity DC) now worked like a charm with better impedance , more powerful, cheaper and almost as good measuring 3e audio A5!

This review is for A5, not A7. I do have an A7 and it has come with a monster power supply. I will test that very soon.
Hi @amirm, will you still review the A7? Hope your injured Finger is fine again.

Will a linear Power supply as posted above, make a measurable improved difference?
Thx

Unlikely if they're not close to the limits of PSU capability. The only tests I've seen comparing performance with different PSUs were with different current and voltage ratings of SMPS, and they weren't with this amp model but with other 325x-based amps. From what I remember it was only maximum output power that was affected.

Did 3e Audio rebrand to SOYYIN? I had the aliexpress link bookmarked but looks like it's called SOYYIN now, not 3e Audio.
I noticed the same thing! Perhaps they’re trying to separate their OEM offerings (stays under 3e name) from retail/fully built products (SOYYIN)?

It seems SOYYIN means 'Happy' or 'Enjoy' in Uzbek - which is spoken across Asia so probably a widely recognized word ... Personally I think they should keep 3e for International / USA / Europe distribution. Who knows, maybe this relates to an investor or such to expand.

Branding looks rough. They should take a cue from Fosi.
Is Fosi really a valuable brand name? Are any of these brands? I don't doubt they may grow into it, their product performance is indisputable.

At the very least it's established and recognised by now. That's most important.

Which is why I wonder why 3e are throwing theirs away. It's established, at least in DIY circles, and everyone searching online will find a lot of praise for their amp modules. Why waste that?

The AliExpress store is still called "3eAudio Store". So maybe SOYYIN is just intended as a sub brand for this range of amplifiers? 3e Audio might or might not enlighten us some day.

Right now I can see only three products, A5se, A7se and A7. US versions only.

Their products seem to be mostly well received. However, their design aesthetic seems to be universally praised, and this was my point. The giant SOYYIN branding is not aesthetically pleasing.

observations under load, even if basic and not yet representative , at 16 or 32 ohms?
This will give some clues....
example in two clics:

sorry response is late as had been out few days for net batch build.
we will keep use 3eAudio, SOYYIN is a temp trademark which we may consider use for further business.

I think 3E Audio already has such a great reputation - especially with the stereo modules. So why change the name? :)

I would think though you could benefit from a nice logo, incorporating the "3E" characters maybe

@3eaudio I have seen your new page in aliexpress... your actual black box is quite smart, consensual... BUT please change your SOYYIN branding design ! it's awful, vulgar, too big, without personality, look at cheap product... at my modest opinion... even if the most important is what is inside the bottle !

Yes... an actual logo with slightly more subtle branding below would be great ;)

Wonder when they will sold the unit by self with no power supply...
We are already getting hit with tariff in USA, even if the product is already in USA
