is there any evidence to suggest these will be as non fatiguing as the hypex or purifi class d designs.

People say second harmonics sound pleasant. But these are at -100db. Best would be to audition with speaker one likes.

So like, What's the catch? I see high performance, low dollar, nothing much to complain about... Someone come say "measures great but the real test is in listening" or something, this thread seems too good to be true...

Is there any evidence to suggest that Hypex or Purifi based amps are "fatiguing"? Question is moot...
I think you misread the comment you replied to? He said that Hypex and Purifi amps are non fatiguing, and asked if this amp would be the same. Unless there's something I'm not getting?

Though of course, the only way I can imagine an amp being "fatiguing" is perhaps if the high frequencies are accentuated perhaps due to load dependency. In which case the answer would be that the amp under discussion should be similarly non-fatiguing.

I'm patiently waiting for certain people to come and proclaim this is garbage because it hasn't passed some sort of long-duration testing at high power...

The price is $280, not $180.

Edit: Hang on that's the A5se "color"...

Edit Edit: This appears to be the tested model?

3-5 dB channel imbalance seems a lot. Isn‘t 9 position something many people use?
Sorry, perhaps I lost something important... What imbalance you mean?

Yep, A5se is a different amp.

Watch the "VAT-excluded" info.
Huh? Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think VAT has anything to do with US pricing?

I'm not sure if there's an additional import tax on items from China when shipping to the US, but in Europe, we definitely have to pay extra for anything exceeding 150 EUR.

For some reasons I trust 3e Audio more than other manufacturers from Chinese. Maybe because their product lineups are not saturated - not too much overlap and not too frequent new products. that is a sign of proper planning, market research and product engineering. Keep it up - don't be another T****ing or S**L. Be yourself, be different!

The "catch" would be long term reliability electronically, and thermal performance. If the Fosi v3 mono (and various Topping devices) have taught us, outstanding performance does not always acquaint to long term usage.

The other catch would be warranty? I can't see it available for sale anywhere other than Ali's Express.
