Hello everyone!

I currently own a 3e EAUMT-0260-2-B (2ch TPA 3255 without PFFB) with a Meanwell power supply (LRS350-48). I purchased an SMPS600-R3 with 51V from MicroAudio to improve the amplifier.

Now I'm thinking about converting to dual mono while I'm at it. I definitely want to stick with the TPA3255, with PFFB in the future. Now the question is which mono board to buy, either the 3E AUDIO 480-1-29A or the SylphAudio FB360. Price is not an issue. What do you think?

Thanks for your help!
Best regards,

Flow

as you are making dual mono, why not take each of them then you can have a comparison.

I ordered a pair of 3E AUDIO 480-1-29A mono boards from Audiophonics. I need to convert the board to single-ended; which op-amp do you recommend? Is it necessary to connect the two modules for the best performance?

Sorry to interject, but do you have plan to sell your products in EU not just through audiophonics distribution @3eaudio ?

it still can use a visual bablance mode without modification. just short IN- to GND

EU is a little bit complex due to VAT in local, so far we only can sell on UK,DE so far.

What about the sound quality?

Is it necessary to connect the two modules for the best performance?

it is the same only the peak output lower around 10W which won't be a problem

connect two modules? do you mean Master and Slave? - no need.
