I bought a MSI 27" expensive monitor because it was purported to be better everything, higher quality and built better etc. Otherwise I would not have spent the ~$650 + tax on it. It was a color correct, 166 Hz refresh rate 27" 1440p MSI PC gaming monitor. It developed vertical black screen dimming stripes at both the left and right sides covering about 60% of the screen ~3 weeks ago when I came home and hit my keyboard space key to wake my desktop PC. The monitor was ~34 months old and came with a 24 months warranty. The MSI USA tech support young guy treated me like an absolute idiot fool because I required ~15 minutes to email him pictures of the fault due to the speedy desktop PC being inoperative, needing to use my Canon camera requiring software to download images from it and installing that software into my slow ~11 years old laptop PC. He made derogatory questions, totally used impatient expressive voice with negative commentary slights combined with deep breathing and repetitive sighing like I was a total dumb unworthy inconvenience for him and MSI. He repeatedly stated the monitor was out of warranty after I told him that when I commenced talking with him. He was a frustration. So I then said to him that the monitor is only ~34 months old and is a $650 monitor and he ignored me and dismissed me. But anyway... MSI will never get another dollar from me ever again.
So... I immediately bought a 32" Viewsonic 4K monitor and WoW! Is it ever nice! It is so easy to use, never required any settings changes in Win11 at all ever, so easy to read, so easy to see images, so easy to recognize icons and do everything. The major major benefit is that not once since I got the 32 " 4K monitor have I had to use the zoom function in Win11 to zoom into a web page and resize the web page. With the 27" 1440p monitor every single webpage and I mean ALL webpages needed Win11 zoom resizing and it was a very inconvenient thing to need to do. In no way at all in anyway shape or form do I miss having the 166 Hz refresh rate! The 32" 4k monitor is a total game changer. I save so much time, effort and energy using the 32" 4K monitor that now I want to know if there are other things/devices that I need to know about that are total game changer devices and features. Are there other things that are major game changing features that I need to get?
