2k - 3k Hifi small room system advice.

I have finally decided on the DAC, integrated amp.

Audiolab 7000a.

Speakers I'm between the following. Very small room and they will have to be near wall. I will be getting JL Audio d110 too.

Elac dbr62
Revel M16
Ascend acoustics Sierra v2.
KEF LS50 META (this one concerns me as people say it doesn't handle complicated music).
Monitor Audio Silver 50 7G
Polk r200.

I decided against the Lintons or Mofi because I feel my room is much too small.

For a very small room I purchased DALI Menuet (SE) which are designed to be placed very close to wall or even wallmounted. Perfect sound!

who says that? The ls50 meta is a fantastic speaker, falling short only in the bass department (which one can expect given it only has a 6.5i midwoofer).

But if I had to choose.. I would go for the Ascend acoustics / R3 (doesn't need to be meta).

Looks like the Revel Performa3 line is near wall friendly with Port plugs.

M105 or M106 are both currently in sale and in budget.

Why no Meta for the R3?

Looking at the smaller Wharfdale Denton, too. Just need the best for small rooms and near wall. I like a warmer but detailed sound with big Soundstage that not too picky about placement.

It's just about the 6,5" coax driver which is great but can't beat physics compared to large speakers at high volume. None of the other small speakers on the list can either.

Interesting choice, since the Wiim Amp Pro has the same DAC plus streaming and room correction - for a third of the list price.

Whats your current plan for the other parts?

The kef seems least optimised for more bass output with loss of area in the centre and potentially less excursion from the surround.

LS50 Meta has a 5.25" driver, not 6.5"

Yeah, my mistake, it sounded a bit large when I wrote that.

Edit: I don't have them but my cousin had the originals and now Metas. I must say there are no problems at moderate levels (which small room implies) at all. A sub is needed for serious SPL and... well, for sub.
