Can you also raise the fact that in the Western market, loudspeaker dominates home HiFi audio rather than headphones and that we would appreciate more electronics made specifically for larger homes for loud speaker systems.
As an example, more power amps and with more power. 17cm form factors so it fits an internal power supply. Amps with signal daisy chain or preamps with multiple sets of signal output. They recently started to add triggers.
More home theater options. Get into speakers.
That's heresy.
China's own loudspeaker brands are still in a developmental stage; while some studio monitors cater to state-owned broadcast studios, consumer-grade speakers generally target the low-to-mid-range market.

I reckon it's unlikely you will be able to buy quality speakers capable of high SPL, imported from China anytime soon. At a decent price point at least.
Their necessary weight and high consequent shipping costs will dictate this.
There's a couple of threads relating to large B&W 8 series copies costing several thousand dollars already.
They are certainly pretty to look at, but none seem to measure well.

Fosi has announced amps based on Hypex. They are not super cheap though at $1,000.What I hope to see: half the price of a Purifi level power amplifier

It has been routine for decades for hotels to take your passport and send them to local authorities in many countries.
Between my China Visa and Global Entry card, both US and China likely know the color of underwear!
Heck, even Alipay and Wechat pay required pictures of my passport.There is little reason left to think we have privacy no matter where you are.

@amirm If you get a chance, I would love to hear impressions of the Flowztone F-R1 ribbon headphone system. It is being made by a father - son duo in Hong Kong, so it seems like a good chance that it might be at this show. It appears to have a very close frequency response compliance with the Harmon target, so I be curious to hear if it sounded much different than something like the DCA Expanse or Stealth.
I really hope that’s for the pair (since they’re monoblocs) and not individually!

It's very clear who the attendees are, mostly young individuals and this is likely going to be 50% personal audio/headphone stuff.

I actually feel safer this way -- I would prefer that the local police in a foreign country that I am visiting, know exactly where I am and where I have been (and if possible, where I would be). One anecdote, my son had his pretty-realistic toy gun "confiscated" at a subway security checkpoint -- that was the rule. When we came back many hours later, he was able to reclaim his gun back -- that was the exception to the rule. I did Sao Paulo, Los Angeles, and Beijing back-to-back earlier this year. Sao Paulo and LA were similar -- spiritually free, but physically and mentally one really has to watch his back. China is kind of the opposite -- you see all the cameras, but practically I am not worried about any crimes or physical "skirmishes". I can walk completely relaxed, even in a dark and narrow alley, knowing that absolutely nothing would happen to me.
Yes, I spotted them in Vienna - they didn't have them hooked up to any speakers.

That seems interesting at least because it's not your usual type of headphone in how it's been designed in terms of the components, and also it seems to measure well, so that's an interesting one!

@amirm If you happen to bump into the eversolo team (I know...I'm asking for the unlikely) could you perhaps broach the subject of a twisty knob such as the fosi vol20 below to control volume etc on their devices?, my hands/fingers are so numb with spms that I find it hard/annoying to try and use the tiny remote for my eversolo Z8 dac, I only use the volume up/down but I'd be prepared to pay decent ££ for an aftermarket accessory knob from eversolo
I recently bought the fosi vol20 to see if it would work but no luck with the Z8 dac

Luxin is the sister brand to eversolo and they are releasing the BD9 which is a R2R ladder dac that comes with a removable knob to control the operation of the dac, I don't care for R2R and its £2000+ so way way way out of my price range, I'd pay £100/£150 for a similar knob to control my Z8 though
