If you will be there and see me jet-lagged and wandering around with a camera feel free to say 你好. :)

I have not been to China in 15+ years. From the videos I have seen, the transformation has been incredible! The level of modernization is amazing. Bullet trains going everywhere, cashless/cardless mobile payments, electric cars everywhere, etc.

I have some business afterward in Beijing before coming home.

14 hour flight to get to Hong Kong and then ferry to Shenzhen. Was grateful for the non-stop flight to HK. Alternatives were crazy with long connections and total travel time easily exceeding 20 hours!!!

I know this from my business trips to Japan in 2000 - 2016. Together with local transportation, it was usually over 20 hours. I was able to handle it quite well, but when I turned to be 60, it started to be quite tiring. So, good luck!

Living in Australia - 20 hour travel time is pretty average!

You will be amazed by the progress in China. Just check out their latest electric cars, which you wont see in USA

I just noticed the flyer says "audio x cosplay x coffee"

certainly sounds different

Next to audio, SIAS also advertises cosplay, coffee and computer keyboards.

SIAS is, in a way, a flashy Chi-Fi expo with all the bells and whistles. ))))

Don't get the ferry! Get the high-speed rail from HK! Or better, get a van straight from the airport.
Thanks. I have looked at all three options. The ferry avoids HK immigration so thought that would be a nice advantage.

Navigating the train seemed daunting so I wasn't going to go that way.

Originally was going to get the private van. So for sure that is the best option?

A private van is better because it drops you directly at your hotel, so you won't have to hunt for a taxi or DiDi after the SZ immigration. That said, the ferry isn't a bad choice either, it just takes longer, involves more walking, and might be tough if you're jet-lagged.

Welcome to Shenzhen, Amir!

Luxsin will also be exhibiting at the 2026 SIAS Shenzhen International Audio Show. Looking forward to meeting you there.

By the way, our company headquarters for both Eversolo and Luxsin are located in Shenzhen. If your schedule allows, we would be very happy to welcome you for a visit to our office and show you around.

See you in Shenzhen.

Oh no! Now the nay sayers are going to rush in to say how these manufacturers wined and dined you and now all the numbers will be cooked up because of all the 666 deals you've done.
I haven't attended all that many conventions, but I don't think it's accurate to call it getting "wined and dined". They can be quite a slog, really.

Amir, could you raise the topic of post sales support when you have your chats with manufacturers?
Sure. I have had that discussion remotely but would be good to have it in person.

Oh, that is good to know. I don't have a personal feeling about how long it takes to see the show. If I can do it in say, one day, I could come visit you during the second day.
