This year I would give my vote to the Danish Symphony Orchestra for absolutely all their film music covers, and especially The Fifth Element, for which I don't know what kind of magic trick: they managed to reinterpret the Diva's voice.

No idea if I truly loved something from 2025. Not a bad year but nothing that blew my mind either. So here's something

Holy cow guys if all music was like what was posted here until now I would have to sell all my audio gear and would never listen to a second of music ever again! :D

Time to be the 1st one to post something actually listenable:

With the underground genre of ‘Jungle’ being an acquired taste, this song is certainly not going to win any popularity polls but for me, this has been my most enjoyable song of 2025.

The premise of the song is based around Jamaican sound-clash culture, where rival DJ’s & MC’s meet in a fiercely competitive toe to toe versus battle.

Produced by two legendary producers, Shy FX and Breakage, the ingredients are simple, the result is vibrantly potent. The rhythm and groove of the bass line is infectious, drum patterns are clean and impactful, 3 vocalists perfectly complimenting the sound in a typical Jamaican sound-clash fashion. The female vocalist softly declares “if a war, make the war begin” an MC offering to take the rival DJ’s back to school. I absolutely love it.

Although it may not be your cup of tea, I would imagine everyone reading this has a sound system capable of reproducing this in an impressive manner. Give it a try.

Good call. Two of the most gorgeous pieces ever written, so I suppose that's an advantage
