With the year coming to an end, time is to nominate a track that was released in 2025 that captured your heart more than any other.

Please post a link to the video or the track so members can listen to it without searching.

Whoever's video gets the highest number of likes gets a free piece of audio gear from me! Yes, earlier entries get more likes so best to post yours soon! :)

Contest will close in 2 weeks (January 15th, 12:00am Pacific Standard Time).

For me the one stand out is this original track by the pianist and youtuber, Emilio Piano featuring delightful, talented, young singer, Lucie:

And a more personal version:

Happy participating and voting! And discovering new music for non participants.

After some soul searching, I'll nominate Monoco:

Though it's hard to pick just one... If you are more a fan of intimate and emotional music, I'd go with "Alicia" by the same artist, or for a "grand" feel I'd go with "Une vie à t'aimer."

Beatles, Free As A Bird, 2025 remix. Released on Beatles Anthology 4 a few months ago. Using machine learning technology, Peter Jackson’s team was able to lift John Lennon’s voice away from the piano and all the noise on the source cassette tape, which Jeff Lynne was then able to remix with McCartney, Harrison, and Starr’s recordings from 1994. Now you can actually hear Lennon as if he were singing with the rest of the Beatles, and not a far-away ghost. Beautiful.

Since the specific video clip below was released in 2021, I know I cannot participate in this wonderful offer from @amirm with sharing it. :facepalm:

I actually found the video clip in late 2025, however, and I am very happy sharing it with all of you onboard on this thread; really impressive and suitable for celebration of New Year Day.

Originally appeared on YouTube, but it has already disappeared. Very fortunately, we still can watch and listen to it here;

The concert starts at 3:27 of the video clip.
Himari Yoshimura (9 years old) performed Paganini Violin concerto No.1 D major, Op.6 with New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra,
JADE Suntory Hall in Series #629th, January 30, 2021, Suntory Hall, Tokyo, conductor Jun-ichi HIROKAMI

I could download the entire video into 831 MB .mkv file, and I could also extract the concert portion into non-compressed 44.1 kHz PCM (.aif) stereo 344 MB; the video and sound quality is really nice.
If you would be seriously interested in having them locally in your music/video library, please simply PM me.

Happy New Year, @amirm, and everyone!
Thank you indeed for sharing this (these) wonderful clips and amazing talents.

I do not know why, but the beautiful piano melody-line and finger-touch remind me this video clip;

I think a big 2025 Award should go to ASR founder Amir for his continuing great work all during 2025. Thank you Amir, and thank you to all the thread monitors for administering a very rewarding internet website. Hugs all around!

New Orleans always seems to turn up some of my favorite music, yet seems to export it so poorly. Andrew Duhon is one of the most talented songwriters I've heard in some time. This video is shite, but oh man what a song.

Happy 2026 to all.

I do know her. She is wonderful, the pianist, as well. Please, check out her rendition of the song Voilà. It's magical.
