The M400 will be released next month, and the M200 will be released this month.
This is the design of M400, made by the Ak4499.
That is pretty! I had a M500 but that had issues with bad SPDIF connections. My OLED TV's SPDIF made the sound drop out every so often on the M500, will this have a different receiver or options to adjust jitter reduction?

You can try to change another cable

Some data of M400 in the laboratory, and very stable, can be used with MQA.
Those THD+N graph and SINAD numbers look very impressive.

distortion looks very nice~ will it output 5V balanced then? or is that just for testing
I think its the max output values there. In any case, the homogenized testing voltage for balanced out is 4V, so SINAD numbers should be a little bit lower at that value.

Yes, I think marketing made some juggling there probably reasonable from their point of view. Sad for me but otherwise it would be a direct competitor and most likely better device than m500.

So no Ak4499 combo so far...

Maybe it was inferior chip and head-amp before. AK4499 and no head-amp now. And MQA to compete with D90.
