Perhaps he (assuming they're a he) is invoking a disparity between the old US "FTC" era power specification regulations -- i.e., continuous power in watts per channel into a 4 or 8 ohm load across a specified frequency range (typically 20 to 20 kHz) at less than or equal to some specified level of THD?

The power ratings quoted for the current Class D amplifiers typically don't align with an "FTC '74" era sensibility vis-a-vis amplifier power output.

to be simple : you have old maker , with old beliver who make 10 kg of amplifier during last 30 year , now we have new technologie and 100g of amp : lool olds the post and discussion about calls D amp the good and the bad : for me its egual to fight 20 / 20KZ and we know now and proof its not the good scale

there is only 1 year we proof ears move to 'look' the signal / noise ( for audio and headphone its very important )

you start 50 pages of talk with wrong data , we cannot talk of the base 20/20KZ when scinece proff its not the real scale of human

There is no "wrong data". You simply want to pick fights. Obviously you have never actually listened to the talk. You, and some of the authors you mention, also should look up 'skin sensation' and 'gut sensation' more before you start throwing around professional insults. You owe me, and some others, a devout apology.

I also admit I have no idea which kind of amplifier you prefer. Do you like the 10kg amp with vacuum tubes and transformers the size of a small car, or do you prefer a decent switching amp? Bear in mind, of course, that many people may prefer the overload behavior of one or the other.

Do you believe that power amplifier quality can only ever be determined by how heavy it is?

Well, beyond repeating his straw-man attack on real data (using data he does not understand himself), apparently he does not actually want to explain how he relates 20-20kHz to class D amplifiers.
