Hi, I'm completely new to the forum but read through many of the reviews by Amir.
I'm looking for advice to see if the set-up that I'm thinking about would work well -- especially that HDMI-CEC would work well in Zone 1 ( I read the denon manual online that Zone 2 would have trouble with CEC)
Zone 1 (Living room):
TV: LG GX wall mounted
Receiver: Denon AVR-X4700
Devices connected to the receiver: (I will have HDMI-CEC enabled)
- PS4
- Nintendo switch
- Apple TV
(Maybe more game consoles in the future)
Zone 2 (Dining room):
2020 Samsung Frame TV connected to zone 2 out of the receiver
Main use cases:
- Watch TV (primarily through Apple TV) in Zone 1 normally; switch to zone 2 when eating
- Use a device in one zone while displaying another device in the other
Can I still turn off the TV, receiver and apple TV if I turn it off from Apple TV or other HDMI-CEC enabled devices like PS4? Would it just work with one of the zones or none at all?
Hoping to hear anyone's experience.
Thanks for your help
