"Did I break something?"

  • Please start a conversation with @amirm to get a Dealer/Manufacturer tag before posting.

  • Any for sale item needs to be posted in the Desperate Dealers forum: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?forums/desperate-dealers-forum.37/

Please add value to such announcement and make them informal if you can. Just posting specs will make it look like an advertisement and have negative impact.

  • Please have a signature identifying the name of your business. You can have a single link to your business but that is it. This link must not lead directly to any form of Advertising or Commercial Sponsorship related links.

You're failing in the first and last of these items at the moment.

First things first, the word "design" is misspelled in your username. Next thing, please refrain from "subjectivist" talk when trying to advertise your product. It doesn't bode well for your business when there is no measurement data backing up your product. The majority of ASR user base is interested in transparent and well measured product that delivers the goods.

Thank you all for the good advice. I am willing to enrich the interaction about this amplifier and add value as much as possible while keeping it objective.

I could have sworn folklore was a staple of culture. But nice to know it defines our existence. Give me a pet dragon, right now! :D:p
All those camp fire stories were all the entertainment and education we had a few years ago

A few centuries more like it. We don't have to rely on superstition these days.
True, depending on the methodology applied and what was being debunked or established and scientists bias and or motivation some did slip through some methodologies blind spots whether by commission or omission or laziness or lack of exposure

Most of the hobby rely on complete omission of any useful methodologies for survival.

The result is that nonsense is not just happening by accident. It's actively encouraged.

This amplifier was originally designed to stick to basic principles of engineering. Douglas Self's blameless amplifier falls within this family of amplifiers in terms of design philosophy but Douglas went for low THD while I decided on a more adventurous approach. "Class A/B provides the warmest fullest bass. Class A has the cleanest bass but can be lean. Class D can be a mixed bag on the quality of the bass"

This site quite likes decent kit, so can we have the measurements of that kit that demonstrates the above statement?

Seems a real shame that almost every active sub seems to use a Class-D, if it's not so good for bass. Works for me for mains and subs!

An independent review is highly welcome. This is a stable design and we have a 30 day return window. Any damage to this module will only require replacement of output devices.

Bass is tricky business, however bass has character especially if your tone differentiation is stable. Bass reflex speakers are also very interesting due to how they work around the tuning frequency. A bass reflex speaker as well as the room can sometimes fatten the sound. Our ears also love how bass reflex speakers work depending on the music one listens to. Bass reflex speakers are the foundation of home theatre.

Hey

How about you build a working amp and send it to @amirm for testing. If all your claims are found to be true, you'll probably have a queue of customers from here wanting to buy your modules.

Put your amp where your mouth is - so to speak.
