Hi
I have been renovating our home the last couple of years and one of the things I did was run ethernet through the walls and under the floor to the living room, so I can hardwire TV streamers etc. it’s generally fine over wifi but occasionally has trouble. To be honest, I mainly just got carried away with the opportunities a renovation offers, to do things you won’t be able to when it’s all put back together.
Anyway, one thing I wanted to do was have my music streamer (Wiim pro plus usually) in a different room, to minimise the number of boxes and increase the wife’s happiness in how the living room looks. I bought a small pair of boxes from Lindy in a sale, that supposedly took usb input, sent it through a connected ethernet cable and then at the other end, offered up a USB output. It worked but I didn’t realise the box was quite old and is limited bandwidth, meaning it only does 44/48khz. Does anyone know of a box that cost less than a 100 quid that can do 192khz?
Cheers
