Im busy changing my svs sb1000-pro into a passive system. I bought a behringer pa amp and a Dayton DIY cabinet plus 15" UM15 driver.

Ideally ill buy another DIY package for i want 2 subs but i cant find much info on subwoofer drivers this size. Does anyone have recommendations if i want to replace the Daytons drivers for something else?

price range ? mid price around £350/400 would be the sb acoustics SB42FHCL75-6 for sealed 150ltr cabinet .or if you needed a smaller cabinet the eminence lab15 will work in a box as small as 30ltrs @ around £280 or £500ish gets you the unbelievable absolute weapon peerless stw 350f If they're still available. that one should work in almost any sized cabinet I'd I remember correctly

Get yourself some speaker design software (WinISD is FREE), enter the Thiele-Small parameters for the potential woofers and the software will help you to optimize a sealed or ported cabinet design and it will predict the response.

Thank you! That WinISD is amazing.

Budget is about €300-500. I read great things about SB. Thanks again. This gives me some direction.
