the link compares the two AVRs. $1000 more for the 6800 but then a separate amp would likely run you near that amount as well. 6800 has 25w more per channel. Your choice. But really you cannot make the wrong choice as they are almost identical.
If you 2 channel amp is much more powerful than the Denon's, then you should use it with the front left and right channels and let the Denon drive the two that requires the least power.
