Hello, Last week I just purchased a pair of Kali Audio LP-6 v2s and was testing them out with my interface. The volume settings on the back are -~ (lowest), 0db (halfway), and +6 being the max. So I was testing to see how loud they could go and basically one speaker played well while the other speaker cut out.
I switched all the inputs, outlets on the interface, and power and xlr to 1/4 cables, and the problem remained with the one speaker continuing to cut out. They both play fine when the volume levels are at 0db and think they will be okay as long as i dont turn them beyond 80%, but my concern remains with wondering why 1 speaker plays fine at max level but the other one cuts out after only a few seconds. (The light stays on but the sound cuts out)
Again I'm thinking I could live with them as 0db level will be plenty for my mpc setup but I'm thinking maybe the speaker has a flaw.
Just asking to get others opinion.
Thanks
