1.5 meter optical cable in a good quality

To be quite honest, I'm not convinced that will be any better than Amazon Basics in any way other than looks. It stinks of overpricing with that gold-plated nonsense. It's not an electrical cable, and the gold can only be there to make crap look better (and cost a bit more). Still, I expect it'll be fine and you'll be happy with it.

And I defy anyone to say much about the structural integrity of an optical cable from a picture on Amazon.

Obviously if it it costs £3000, you totally know it's audiophile ober da grade and is femtometre accurate in its dimensions, and has a single crystal quartz fibre core, which improves imaging. Or something, something, something that is nice.

Look, I know what OP meant. He simply wanted a cable that looks more "premium" than the, quite frankly, very prudish looking Basics one. So I linked him a cable that feels more "premium". It was barely 5 USD more expensive and has a nicer look, that gives him some "reassurance of quality". No reason to "attack" the guy. And that cable does look much more pleasing than the Amazon Basics ones and will probably last just as long. Lets not pretend like 5 bucks more is catering to the snake oil market. Aesthetics are also a major factor for many people.

I'm from the UK, so poking fun is the only thing left for us.
Bought petrol yesterday, and in a major supermarket outlet there were only 3 pumps with fuel. Again, within 2 weeks.
